To further enhance the trading experience and reduce transaction costs, Gate has lowered options trading fees as of February 5, 2026.
The revised fee structure will be displayed on the Web and App fee pages starting February 12, 2026.
The adjustment applies to all VIP tiers from V0 to V16, with optimized VIP base fees (Maker / Taker). Certain higher-tier VIP users will benefit from Maker fees as low as 0%.

2. Optimization of Options Trading Volume Weighting in VIP Level Calculation

Gate has also optimized the weighting of options trading volume in VIP level calculations.

Previous calculation method:
30-day Total Trading Volume = 30-day Spot Trading Volume (including Convert) + 30-day Futures Trading Volume × 40% + 30-day Options Trading Volume × 5%

Updated calculation method:
30-day Total Trading Volume = 30-day Spot Trading Volume (including Convert) + 30-day Futures Trading Volume × 40% + 30-day Options Trading Volume × 20%
The above trading volumes include copy trading spot volume, copy trading futures volume, and Convert trading volume.
