According to the latest announcement from the Kadena (KDA) team, the Kadena public chain has officially ceased operations. To ensure the continued functioning of the network, the Kadena community will take over and launch an independent Community-Maintained Version of the blockchain.
In line with our commitment to delivering secure and reliable services, Gate will continue to support the Kadena (KDA) community-maintained chain. During this transition:
- User Asset Security: All KDA assets held on Gate remain secure and unaffected.
- Deposit and Withdrawal Services: KDA deposits and withdrawals will continue to operate as normal. Please note that all future on-chain transactions (including deposits and withdrawals) will be processed on the community-maintained chain.
Important Risk Notice:
While Gate will fully support this community initiative, users should be aware of the following:
- Community-Maintained Network: The chain is maintained by community volunteers rather than the original Kadena team. Therefore, Gate cannot guarantee the same long-term stability, performance, or security as the original network.
- Potential Technical Risks: The community version may face technical risks such as (but not limited to): network outages, transaction failures, or security vulnerabilities.
- Investment Risks: Changes to network governance and maintenance may introduce uncertainty to the project ecosystem and token value. Please conduct your own research, assess risks carefully, and make independent investment decisions.
Gate will continue to provide necessary technical support for the Kadena community network and maintain close communication with the community team. If any major technical or security issues arise, we will promptly evaluate the situation and issue further updates to our users.
