In the previous announcement, Gate promised to distribute the new cover token to COVER holders at the ratio of 1:1. Gate has now credited users the new cover tokens （IOU） based on snapshot of December 30, 2020 4:00 AM UTC. Users may head over to Billing Details to view the records. The old cover tokens will use the ticker COVER_OLD and can be withdrawn to a personal wallet. The new cover token will use the ticker COVER, and continue trading on the existing COVER markets. When the new token’s contract is available, the withdrawals and deposits of the new token will be enabled.
Note: Following the recent attack to the Cover Protocol, the Cover Protocol is going to distribute a new token based on a snapshot taken before block #11541219.
