Gate's limited-time Event Contracts trading event is now live, with three rewards: first-trade loss coverage for new users, daily trading rewards, and the Peak Trading Competition. Whether you're starting with small trades or competing for a leaderboard position, predict whether prices will rise or fall to qualify for rewards.
What Are Event Contracts?
Event Contracts are a trading product based on predicting price direction. Predict whether the underlying asset's price will rise or fall over the next 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, or 4 hours, select Up or Down, enter an amount, and submit an order.

Important: Daily check-ins and trading volume calculations use calendar days in UTC.

Reward 1: First-Trade Loss Coverage for New Users
During the event, the first 2,000 users whose first trade in their Event Contracts account results in a loss will receive compensation equal to the actual loss, capped at 5 USDT per user. Eligibility is determined by the time of the trade.
Reward 2: Earn Up to 100 USDT by Trading
During the event, users who meet the daily cumulative Event Contracts trading volume requirement can claim the corresponding rewards:
Tier A: Daily cumulative trading volume ≥ 500 USDT; daily reward: 2.5 USDT
Tier B: Daily cumulative trading volume ≥ 1,000 USDT; daily reward: 10 USDT
Rules:
Users may receive rewards from only one tier; rewards cannot be combined.
Users must meet either tier's trading volume requirement on at least 4 days during the event to qualify for rewards.
Meet Tier B's requirement every day during the event to earn up to 100 USDT.
Reward 3: Peak Trading Competition
Event 1: Share a Prize Pool Based on Trading Volume
During the event, users with cumulative trading volume ≥ 30,000 USDT will share a dedicated 30,000 USDT prize pool in proportion to their trading volume relative to the total trading volume of all eligible users. Rewards are capped at 300 USDT per user.
Event 2: Peak Leaderboard
During the event, users with cumulative trading volume ≥ 200,000 USDT qualify for a guaranteed reward of 200 USDT. Users are ranked by cumulative trading volume, and the top 10 receive additional fixed rewards:

Users with cumulative trading volume ≥ 200,000 USDT who do not rank in the top 10 can still participate in the trading volume prize pool under Event 1. Users who receive a top 10 ranking reward cannot also receive a prize pool reward.
Reward Claim Instructions:
Reward 1 (First-Trade Loss Coverage) can be combined with either Reward 2 or Reward 3. Rewards 2 and 3 cannot be combined.
After the event ends, the system will compare the reward amounts each user qualifies for and distribute only the highest-value reward. Users cannot receive rewards from multiple tiers.
Notes:
All participants must complete Identity Verification before claiming and using rewards.
Only users who register and trade Event Contracts during the event are eligible for rewards. Only trading volume generated after registration and before the event ends will count.
Rewards will be credited to user accounts within 14 business days after the event ends.
Stock Event Contracts can be traded on the web. To trade them in the app, update to v8.36.0 or later.
Bulk registration of additional accounts, deliberate trading volume manipulation, self-trading, matched orders, and other fraudulent behavior are strictly prohibited. Multiple accounts held by the same verified user will be treated as a single account. Users found engaging in prohibited behavior will be disqualified, and any rewards already distributed will be reclaimed.
The event prize pool is limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until fully distributed.

Reward values displayed on the event page are estimates for reference only. Actual rewards are determined by the final amounts officially distributed.
Event Contracts are an innovative, high-risk trading product. Underlying asset prices may fluctuate significantly. Users should participate cautiously after fully understanding the risks. Before trading Event Contracts for the first time, users must read and acknowledge the relevant risk disclosures and User Agreement.
If there is any discrepancy between the translated version and the English version, the English version prevails.
