Gate Launches Trenches: New Onchain Trading Product with Limited-Time Gas Fee Waiver

To optimize its product suite, improve onchain trading services, and reduce trading costs, Gate is officially launching Trenches , a new all-in-one onchain trading product. A limited-time Gas fee waiver is also available, delivering a more efficient and cost-effective onchain trading experience.
Trenches focuses on the meme social-trading ecosystem. It amplifies the social side of meme trading and taps into the value of meme-trading communities. It features community tools including the Callout Leaderboard, KOL Leaderboard, and Active Account Showcase. Together, these meet users' social needs in meme-trading scenarios, build a vibrant, community-driven onchain trading ecosystem, and deliver comprehensive onchain trading services.

Trading Fees

Effective from the release of this announcement, Trenches will apply a unified trading fee of 0.5% for both buy and sell orders . This fee applies across all platforms, with details as follows:

1. Web: All users automatically receive the 0.5% trading fee. No action is required.
2. Gate App: All users are eligible for the 0.5% trading fee. App versions below 8.36.0 will still display the old 0.8% rate in the UI, but settlements and deductions will be executed at the actual 0.5% rate. Users will not lose the lower fee.

Robinhood Chain Limited-Time Gas Fee Waiver

To celebrate the launch of Trenches and thank our users for their support, Gate is offering an exclusive promotion: starting from the publication of this announcement, users trading Robinhood Chain assets via Trenches can enjoy a limited- time Gas fee waiver . The end date of this event will be announced separately.

Supported Networks and How to Trade

Trenches now supports a wide array of leading public chains: Robinhood Chain, Solana, Ethereum, Gate Layer, BNB Chain, Base, Sui, Arbitrum, World Chain, Avalanche, Polygon, Linea, zkSync, Optimism, Berachain, and more. Further chain integrations will roll out to expand cross-chain trading. Via Gate Web or the Gate App, users can enter token names or contract addresses to retrieve real-time quotes and K-line data, then execute onchain trades directly from their Gate account balance, enabling an efficient "search-to-trade" experience for cross-chain tokens.
