Gate USDT-M Perpetual Futures Fee Updates

To further enhance the trading experience, Gate will implement the following fee updates for USDT-M Perpetual Futures, effective September 1, 2026:

1. New Fee Structure for USDT-M TradFi Perpetuals

1.1 USDT-M TradFi Perpetual Futures VIP Fee Rate

Previously, USDT-M TradFi Perpetuals and other USDT-M contracts followed the same fee structure. Going forward, USDT-M TradFi Perpetuals will adopt a dedicated fee structure.

USDT-M TradFi Perpetuals include perpetual contracts related to stocks, metals, indices, forex, and commodities.

Please note that the trading-volume requirements and qualification criteria for each VIP tier remain unchanged. This update only introduces a separate fee schedule for USDT-M TradFi Perpetuals.

1.2 USDT-M TradFi Perpetual Futures Market Maker Fee Rate

The market maker (MM) fee schedule for USDT-M TradFi Perpetuals will also be updated as follows:

The MM fee schedule for USDT-M TradFi Perpetuals will be assessed under the existing MM evaluation rules; no separate eligibility or assessment criteria will apply.

2. USDT-M Perpetual Futures Taker Program

Gate is launching its USDT-M Perpetual Futures Taker fee discount program. A participant's discount tier will be determined by its share of platform-wide USDT-M Perpetual Futures Taker volume during the calculation period ("X"):

X = Participant's USDT-M Perpetual Futures Taker Volume during the Calculation Period ÷ Platform-wide USDT-M Perpetual Futures Taker Volume during the Same Calculation Period × 100%

• This program will commence on September 1, 2026. The end date will be announced separately.

• If a participant does not meet the Tier 1 threshold in an assessment, the participant will not be eligible for a Program discount in the following month, and its taker fees will revert to the applicable standard fee rate.

• Please note that Managed Subaccounts (MSAs) are not eligible for fee discounts under this Taker Program.
