Gate's new limited-time Event Contracts trading event is now live, with five reward tracks: first-order loss coverage, referral rebates, daily check-in prize sharing, tiered daily trading volume rewards, and a peak trading leaderboard competition. What Are Event Contracts?
Event Contracts are a trading product built around predicting price direction. Predict how BTC, ETH, SOL, or XRP will move over a short window of 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, or 4 hours, choose bullish or bearish, enter an amount, and submit your order.

Reward 1: Share a 10,000 USDT Prize Pool for First-Order Loss Coverage
During the event, the first 2,000 users to complete their first account trade and incur a loss on that trade will receive compensation, distributed in order of trade execution based on the actual loss incurred. Each user may receive up to 5 USDT in compensation.
Reward 2: Unlimited Referral Rewards
During the event, for each friend who registers via your exclusive referral link and completes their first‑time Event Contracts trade, the referrer receives 2 USDT, up to a maximum of 20 USDT per referrer. The total reward pool is 20,000 USDT, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
During the event, if an invited friend reaches a cumulative trading volume of ≥ 1,000 USDT during the event period, the referrer will receive 5 USDT. Rewards may be accumulated for multiple qualifying invited friends, with no cap on the total reward amount.
Reward 3: Trade Check-In to Share a 10,000 USDT Prize Pool
Check-In Rules: During the event, users who complete at least 3 market trades each day (for example, three BTC 5-minute Event Contracts) and have a cumulative daily trading volume of no less than 20 USDT will complete that day's check-in. Users who check in for a total of 3 days or more will share a dedicated 10,000 USDT prize pool based on the ratio of their cumulative check-in days to the total check-in days of all eligible users. The maximum reward per user is 10 USDT.
Reward 4: Trade to Earn a Guaranteed 70 USDT
During the event, users who meet the daily cumulative Event Contracts trading volume requirement can claim the corresponding rewards:
Tier A: Daily cumulative trading volume ≥ 500 USDT; daily reward: 2.5 USDT
Tier B: Daily cumulative trading volume ≥ 1,000 USDT; daily reward: 10 USDT
Rules:
Users may receive rewards from only one tier; rewards cannot be combined;
During the event period, users must have at least 3 valid days in any tier to receive rewards;
Reach Tier B every day throughout the event to claim up to 70 USDT.
Event 5: Peak Trading Competition
Reward 1: Share the Prize Pool Based on Trading Volume
During the event, users with a cumulative trading volume of ≥ 20,000 USDT will share a dedicated 30,000 USDT prize pool based on the ratio of their individual trading volume to the total trading volume of all qualified users. The reward is capped at 800 USDT per user.
Reward 2: Peak Leaderboard
During the event, users with a cumulative trading volume of ≥ 150,000 USDT will receive a 500 USDT minimum reward. In addition, the top 10 users ranked by cumulative trading volume in descending order will receive additional fixed-value rewards:

Rules:
Users with a cumulative trading volume of at least 150,000 USDT who do not rank in the Top 10 may participate in the trading volume prize pool under Reward 1. Users who have received a Top 10 ranking reward will not participate in the prize pool distribution.
Weekend Trading Volume Multiplier: Trading volume generated from August 22, 00:00 (UTC) – August 23, 24:00 (UTC) will be counted toward the trading volume calculation for the [Peak Trading Competition] at a 1.2x multiplier.
Reward Claim Instructions:
Reward 1 (First-Order Loss Coverage) and Reward 2 (Referral Rewards) may each be claimed together with any of Rewards 3, 4, and 5; Rewards 3, 4, and 5 are mutually exclusive.
After the event ends, the system will automatically compare the rewards each user is eligible for and distribute only the highest-value reward tier. Multiple reward tiers cannot be claimed simultaneously.
Notes:
All participants must complete Identity Verification before claiming rewards.
Only users who register and trade Event Contracts during the event period are eligible for rewards.
Reward values displayed on the event page are estimated for reference only. Actual reward values are subject to official announcements and actual distribution results.
All rewards will be distributed within 7 business days after the event ends.
First-time users of [Event Contracts] must follow the guide to complete the Innovation Trading Disclaimer quiz and sign the relevant User Agreement. Token projects in Event Contracts may carry high risk and volatility. Invest cautiously after fully understanding the risks.
Bulk registration of duplicate accounts, malicious volume inflation, wash trading, matched orders, and other cheating behavior are strictly prohibited. Multiple accounts under the same verified user will be treated as one account.
In the event of any discrepancy between the translated version and the original English text, the English version shall prevail.
