To bring a richer Gate Card user experience, Gate plans to launch an upgrade to its points rewards program on August 14, 2026. After the upgrade, users can accumulate points through daily spending and redeem more types of assets, enhancing the value and flexibility of points.
Before the upgrade, Gate Card points mainly supported redemption for USDT and GT. After the upgrade, redeemable assets for Gate Card points will be expanded to USDT, GT, BTC, ETH, GUSD, as well as 8 tokenized stock assets: NVDAG, AAPLG, GOOGLG, SPCXG, TSLAG, MUG, SNDKG, and SKHYG, corresponding respectively to NVIDIA, Apple, Google, SpaceX, Tesla, Micron Technology, SanDisk, and SK Hynix. Users will be able to redeem over 13 assets with Gate Card points, covering stablecoins, platform tokens, major crypto assets such as BTC and ETH, as well as tokenized stock assets linked to U.S. and Korean equities. In addition, Gate Card points will support redemption for Tether Gold (XAUT), further expanding users' redemption options.
The newly added tokenized stock assets this time cover multiple sectors such as AI, semiconductors, and consumer technology, and also include tokenized stock assets linked to leading companies such as SpaceX. For users, the use value of Gate Card points will become more diverse. After users earn points in daily payment scenarios such as coffee purchases and bill payments, they can redeem points for mainstream crypto assets such as BTC and ETH according to their preferences, or choose to redeem tokenized stock assets corresponding to NVIDIA, Apple, Tesla, SpaceX, and others. After the upgrade, the Gate Card points system will expand into asset allocation scenarios, allowing rewards accumulated from users' daily spending to be transformed into assets worth holding long-term, making every payment a new entry point for asset growth.
For users who already hold a Gate Card, if there are unredeemed points in their accounts, they can redeem the points for newly added assets according to the platform page support after the upgrade goes live. For users who have not yet applied for a Gate Card, this upgrade also provides a new reason to use Gate Card: daily spending can not only earn point rebates, but also redeem points for richer asset categories.
In this upgrade, other core rules of Gate Card remain unchanged. The Gate Card points redemption ratio remains 100 points = 1 USDT equivalent asset, with clear and transparent redemption value. Gate Card points will also continue to be permanently valid with no expiration date. Users can choose to redeem immediately according to their own needs, or continue accumulating points and redeem them for desired assets at an appropriate time.
At the same time, the rules for obtaining Gate Card points will maintain the existing mechanism. Users can still earn points rebates through eligible Gate Card spending, and the rebate ratio will continue to be calculated according to the user's T0–T5 / VIP level. This upgrade will not affect the original points earning mechanism, but will only provide users with more choices when redeeming.
In the future, Gate will continue to improve the Gate Card payment experience and points benefits system, bringing users more diverse usage scenarios and asset choices. Through this upgrade, Gate Card points will connect spending with asset accumulation experiences, allowing the value generated by daily payments to extend to more income opportunities.
