Thirty-five years of A-share market history, and just looking at it has me exhausted.
The Hang Seng Tech Index is kind of interesting too.
These days, there really isn’t much genuinely useful educational content on X. Chinese creators are all farming airdrops and posting ads to get a paycheck from Musk, or, as KOLs, constantly showing off how amazing their lives are. It feels like there’s more useful content on Xiaohongshu—or maybe there was more on X in 2024–25. I’ll have to dig through X for some older stuff. Or maybe I’ll share more on Xiaohongshu from now on.
It’s pretty moving. I got into crypto and U.S. stocks after watching virtual idols back then, though I can’t remember what led me to them. Then, for a while, I went back to everyday life and stopped watching virtual idols or trading U.S. stocks and crypto. Now I’m back in crypto, and I’ve remembered the virtual idols I used to watch. Their songs really do have a way of making you feel at ease. Time passes, mountains and rivers change, but at least I still have you.
