Ahr999 drops to 0.43! The bottom-fishing signal is flashing, but will this time mean buying halfway down?
A familiar script is playing out in crypto again!
BTC has pulled back to around $76k, and the Ahr999 indicator has fallen below 0.45 to around 0.43.
Many investors see this and their eyes light up: The bottom-fishing zone is here—is this finally my chance to make a fortune?
Don’t get too excited just yet—maybe hold off on that buy button for now! 😂
Ahr999 is a reference indicator that uses factors such as BTC’s current price, the cost of dollar-cost averaging over 200 days, and its long-term growth valuation to assess Bitcoin’s valuation relative to historical levels.
Dropping below 0.45 does mean its valuation is worth paying attention to.
But here’s the thing: An indicator entering the bottom-fishing zone doesn’t mean the market has already bottomed.
Prices that have looked cheap historically can get even cheaper; what looks like a floor might just be the entrance to the basement.
Especially when market trends, fund flows, and investor sentiment are all weak, relying on a single indicator can easily lead to a wrong call.
So rather than betting on nailing the bottom, consider buying in batches, managing your position size, and keeping cash on hand.
Remember: The market won’t stop falling just because you think prices are cheap.
