Are institutional funds collectively pretending to be asleep? BTC ETFs see $870 million in outflows—when will the next wave of dip buyers appear?
Bitcoin investors may be feeling a little down lately: retail investors are still studying candlestick charts, while institutions have already voted with real money.
U.S. spot BTC ETFs saw nearly $870 million in cumulative net outflows this week, and the retreating funds have once again made the market feel the harshness of reality.
But interestingly, outflows don't mean institutions have completely given up on Bitcoin.
For large investment institutions, allocating to BTC is more like a long-term asset management game. When market volatility intensifies, reducing positions is normal; when the risk-reward ratio becomes attractive again, funds may re-enter.
So, when will the next wave of dip-buying funds arrive?
There are three signals worth watching.
First, BTC's price gradually stabilizes, with no more frequent sharp pullbacks.
Second, net outflows from U.S. spot BTC ETFs continue to shrink, and market sentiment toward funds begins to improve.
Third, the macro environment turns positive, and risk appetite returns to the market.
If all three signals appear at the same time, the likelihood of institutional funds flowing back in will increase.
However, don't mistake a single day of net inflows for the starting gun of a bull market. What really matters is persistence.
After all, institutions aren't just showing up to punch a clock. Their return will depend on whether the market can once again offer a compelling reason to invest.$AUDUSD #10月非农数据聚焦
