$ARIA I missed these 14 points, but I don’t regret it at all.
Looking back at my latest trade: I placed a limit order at 0.142 the day before yesterday and got filled, then exited at 0.158 yesterday, making 11 points. Today, watching it surge to 0.1699, I’ll admit I was tempted to jump back in, but discipline is discipline—my entry logic was “hold steady after a pullback to the 24h low area,” not “chase a breakout.” 0.158 was my first take-profit level. Once it hit, I was out; I’ll leave the last bit of the move to someone else.
Holding the position wasn’t easy on my nerves. 0.1382 was the 24h low, and placing my order at 0.142 already meant entering on the left side. After I bought, it dipped again, leaving me down 4 points on paper. I had just one thought at the time: stop-loss at 0.134; if it breaks, exit no matter what. If it doesn’t, hold. When it later climbed to around 0.155, I started scaling out, and closed everything at 0.158. I checked the charts fewer than three times throughout the whole process because the plan had already been set in stone.
There’s just one lesson: I sold too early because my take-profit was too “by the book,” and today’s trading volume was 36.8M, with a 14% 24h gain—clearly, money was pushing it up. But that kind of money isn’t part of my system. Chasing it would be betting on sentiment, and if I got it wrong, I’d be stuck holding at 0.17.
My plan now is clear: $ARIA at 0.1599, I’m not chasing. I’ll only consider buying back if it pulls back to the 0.148-0.152 range and stabilizes on lower volume, with a position no larger than 20%. My stop-loss is below 0.138, with a first take-profit target of 0.168 and a second target of 0.175. If it breaks above 0.17 on high volume and doesn’t look back, I accept it and won’t trade.
My motto is simple: only buy dips according to plan; don’t chase highs on emotion. Selling too early is no shame; chasing highs is.
No trading outside the plan. #每周来晒 #Gate股票畅聊季
