For investors with positions, November 5 may have been an unpleasant day; but for those who have been holding cash and waiting for a pullback, it may be worth paying attention to.
The Nasdaq plunged 5.52%, the S&P 500 fell 4.36%, the Dow dropped 3.44%, and Bitcoin also fell about 6%, briefly dropping below $76k. The previous rebound was quickly wiped out, and the market shifted back into cautious mode.
Some people see a plunge and want to sell; others see a drop and want to buy. Neither reaction is unusual, but what really matters is whether you have a plan.
The value of cash lies not only in waiting for cheaper assets, but also in giving yourself the initiative when markets are volatile. If the market keeps falling, you'll still have funds on hand; if things gradually stabilize, you can consider buying in batches.
Don't put all your cash in at once. Bottom fishing isn't about who has the most courage, but who can manage risk.
Do you think cash is king this time, or is the discount on quality assets the biggest opportunity?$AMD
