U.S. stocks plunged, Bitcoin tumbled. Is there still a chance to turn things around in the final two months of 2026?
2026 has entered its final two months, and the financial markets have once again served up a wild ride for investors.
On November 5, U.S. stocks fell across the board, with the Nasdaq down 5.52%, the S&P 500 down 4.36%, and the Dow down 3.44%. Bitcoin also fell about 6%, briefly dropping below $76k. The post-election rally quickly reversed, and markets are once again gripped by uncertainty.
For investors, the biggest concern now is probably not how much markets fell today, but whether there are still opportunities ahead.
If markets can gradually stabilize, quality assets may present a window to reposition; if selling pressure continues to mount, protecting principal and reducing risk will become even more important.
In the final two months, everyone hopes their portfolio can finish the year on a high note. But investing is not about making New Year’s wishes—you can’t count on the market to suddenly shower you with gifts.
A little less impulsiveness and a little more patience may be the best way to handle volatility.
