This week, $ZEC 's performance has been quite interesting🤔
BTC fell, HYPE fell, and major altcoins generally came under pressure, yet ZEC closed up around 5% after volatile trading; it hit a weekly low of 1120 before rebounding all the way to a high near 1390
Besides continued capital interest in the privacy sector, there was another concrete catalyst this week:
The NU7 upgrade officially went live, shortening the target block time from 75 seconds to 25 seconds while introducing a new transaction fee reserve mechanism to support future miner rewards
Of course, these changes won't immediately translate into token revenue, but at least the project is continuing to deliver on its technical roadmap
I'm actually more focused on the price itself:
With the broader market so weak, ZEC was still able to recover most of its losses, showing that there is still capital willing to buy in at current levels
I remain bullish next week and will be watching support around 1250. If it can maintain its current strong structure, ZEC will remain one of the altcoins I'm paying close attention to
