$ACT Up 18% in a day, with 31.3M in trading volume pouring in. That kind of volume would normally be enough to keep it moving sideways for a week. But don’t rush to FOMO in—the wick at 0.0119 marked the short-term top, and those who chased are still stuck holding above 0.0111.

First, the broader market context. BTC isn’t showing a direction right now, and the Fed has no new playbook, but hot money isn’t sitting idle—small-cap pumps like ACT are essentially in-market capital looking for an emotional outlet. The 24-hour range was 26%, sweeping from 0.0094 to 0.0119—a classic speculator play: trigger stop-losses, draw in chasers, then shake them out again. There’s no on-chain growth; this is a short-term, zero-sum game, not a trend to hold.
My strategy is straightforward: don’t chase the current price; wait for a pullback. Entry range: 0.0104–0.0107, around halfway down from today’s gains, where volume should provide support. Set the stop-loss at 0.0092. If it breaks below today’s low of 0.0094, the thesis is invalid—don’t hold on. Take profits in two stages: sell half at 0.0125, then exit around 0.0138. Don’t get greedy for the last penny. Keep the position under 20%; slippage is high on small-cap coins like this, and heavy trading can easily leave you buried.
There’s just one screening criterion this time: an asset whose trading volume suddenly jumps to more than 3x its usual daily level and whose price rises above the previous day’s high. ACT fits the bill today. But remember, this is a short-term trade, not a long-term hold. If it doesn’t make a new high within three days, get out.
When I watch the charts, I focus on volume during pullbacks. A support retest on declining volume is an opportunity; if it dumps on heavy volume, stay well clear. Did you catch this wave? #每周来晒 #Gate广场中秋团圆局
