There’s basically no technical support now. Until we get back above 771 and see a 4-hour candle close there, we can’t even confirm that the decline has stopped.

Saturday and Sunday’s price action doesn’t count. Any recovery during this period could be dragged down again by the news on Monday. The Democrats have been building up years of “resentment,” and I’m afraid they won’t be able to vent it all in a short time.

Halting further development of data centers and AI has a definite “turning back the clock” feel to it. We’ve seen this before. Back when China was still at the center of the global crypto and blockchain industries, we had this kind of blanket policy, and from that point on, we lost our leading position and could never get it back. If they call a halt now—even if they only keep things on hold until after the 2028 election—they’ll probably have a hard time catching up with the pace of domestic AI development. So you see, every country has its share of “dumbass” politicians...

All we can do now is watch. The nearest resistance is 763–766, and there’s no floor below. Potential support is at 755–752. If you’re completely out of the market, you can wait until Monday and see what the news brings before deciding whether to start dollar-cost averaging in bit by bit. The rebound I mentioned earlier—one of at least 5,000 points—has already happened. It’s November 7 now, and under normal circumstances, there should be one or more rebounds between now and the end of December, probably of around 5,000 points each. But there’s no way to predict what price they’ll start from or when they’ll begin.

It’s the weekend. No matter how hard things feel, take some time to rest. The market is like life: it has its ups and downs. It won’t keep going downhill forever; things will get better.

There’s a line from League of Legends that I’ve always liked:

You don’t keep going because you have hope.
You have hope because you keep going.
