The crypto market has been playing dirty lately!
BTC and ETH are both under pressure, and the broader risk asset market isn’t doing much better. As soon as prices fall, the familiar refrain appears on social media: the perfect time to buy the dip!
But the funds in your wallet may have their own thoughts: Boss, can we calm down first?🤣
Buying the dip is indeed a strategy some investors consider, but it requires proper financial planning—not adding to your position impulsively just because prices are falling.
If the market keeps correcting, an overly concentrated position could leave you in a difficult spot.
At times like this, reducing your risk exposure is also worth considering. Keeping some liquidity on hand and leaving room for future market moves is often more important than blindly chasing the lowest price.
Of course, there’s no shame in sitting on the sidelines. Markets fluctuate every day, and opportunities won’t disappear just because you didn’t buy today.
Remember: only if your account survives can you seize the next opportunity!
Would you add to your position, or protect your wallet first?$AMD
