Crypto taught investors another lesson today: yesterday they were still dreaming of financial freedom; today they opened their accounts and got a taste of freefall! BTC is down about 4% over the past 24 hours, ETH has fallen 5.5%, and major coins like SOL and XRP have also followed suit, as if the entire market had agreed to dive together.
Was this drop a chain reaction triggered by weakness in global risk assets, or a self-inflicted pileup caused by tight liquidity and excessive leverage within crypto? If it’s just macro sentiment spilling over, the market may still have a chance to recover. But if funds keep flowing out and leveraged longs keep getting liquidated, the market may not have reached a true bottom yet.
My view is that there’s no need to rush to buy the dip, and I wouldn’t recommend panic-selling either. First, see whether BTC can stabilize, then watch trading volume and leverage. After all, buying the dip at the right time is strategic positioning; doing it too early means donating your money to the market.
Do you think this is a golden buying opportunity or just a pause before further declines?$AMD
