Nvidia falls 9%, AMD plunges 17%! Is the golden age of chip stocks over? It may be too early to buy the dip!
Once-star AI stocks have now turned investors’ portfolios into a sea of green. Nvidia tumbled, AMD fared even worse, and the semiconductor index dropped about 12% in a single day—a spectacle more intense than a Singles’ Day clearance sale. But I believe long-term demand for the chip industry has not suddenly disappeared; what has really changed is how the market prices future growth. AI chips still matter, but the problem is that investors had set expectations too high. Any slowdown in capital spending, order delays, or earnings shortfalls could trigger a valuation reset. Chip stocks still have opportunities ahead, but you can no longer buy the whole sector with your eyes closed. What’s really worth watching is order quality, gross margins, cash flow, and customers’ capital spending. Cheap doesn’t mean safe, and a drop doesn’t automatically make it a golden buying opportunity. #每周来晒 and #美股史诗级抛售
