Chip stocks have crashed, but are tech giants the better buy? Microsoft, Google, or Apple—which is the winner in the AI correction?
One question worth considering amid this sharp sell-off in AI stocks is: Which is better to hold for the long term—chip companies or tech giants? Chipmakers directly benefit from demand for AI computing power, but are also more vulnerable to order fluctuations, inventory cycles, and competitive dynamics. Large tech companies, by contrast, have mature businesses, vast customer bases, and relatively diversified revenue streams. However, even giants aren’t immune: if they keep increasing capital expenditures without turning them into profits, the market will still vote with its valuation. I’m more inclined to focus on companies with stable cash flow that can truly turn AI into commercial revenue, rather than simply chasing the AI narrative. In the future, the market may no longer reward whoever buys the most chips, but whoever truly turns chips into profits. #每周来晒 and #美股史诗级抛售 $AMD
