#BTC At the current price of 80,400, BTC has entered a consolidation phase at elevated levels following this rebound. The short-term tug-of-war between bulls and bears is centered around the 80,000 level. The first resistance zone above lies at 81,800–82,200, where trapped holders from earlier positions and short-term profit-taking sell pressure have built up. To open up further upside, BTC needs to break above and hold this zone on strong volume; otherwise, it could easily come under renewed pressure and pull back.

The nearest support below is around 79,500, a key level that will determine whether this rebound remains strong. A decisive break below it would invalidate the short-term rebound structure and likely return the market to weaker consolidation, with a test of deeper support near 78,000.

Trading volume has contracted noticeably following this rally, suggesting that traders are reluctant to chase prices higher and that bullish momentum is easing. The RSI has also moved into neutral territory, offering no clear directional signal. The market is now waiting for an external catalyst. Keep an eye on ETF fund flows, Treasury yields, and the upcoming nonfarm payroll and inflation data, all of which could roil the market.

Until there is a clear breakout signal, the market is likely to keep consolidating as it searches for direction. Aggressively chasing gains or selling into declines is not advisable. In the short term, it is better to wait and follow the move once price holds above resistance or breaks below support.

Neutral RSI = no direction, a classic grind

This market is one to sit back with tea and watch; wait for a clear direction before making a move

A breakout without increased volume is just bullshit; just hang in there for now

Staying on the sidelines. With volume shrinking this much, who’d dare chase

If it tests 78000 again, I’m considering adding a little to my position
