#Gate Launches Taiwan Stock Trading
Beyond TSMC and MediaTek, the most interesting names among this batch of Taiwan stocks on Gate are the three AI server ODM giants: Foxconn, Quanta, and Wistron. But the trap with this group is that the one with the most explosive revenue growth is not necessarily the best one to buy right now.
First, the numbers. Foxconn's September 2026 revenue was NT$1.1586 trillion, up 25.7% month-on-month and 38.4% year-on-year, breaking the NT$1 trillion mark for the first time in a single month; Quanta's September revenue was NT$325.3 billion, up 76.7% year-on-year, with third-quarter revenue reaching a new quarterly high; Wistron's third-quarter revenue was NT$1.1491 trillion, up 28.3% quarter-on-quarter and more than doubling year-on-year, with AI-related products already accounting for around 70% of revenue. Looking at growth rates alone, Wistron is the strongest, Quanta comes second, and Foxconn looks relatively “moderate” because of its much larger base.
But the essence of contract manufacturing is profit leverage, not revenue leverage. Foxconn's dual engines of AI racks and consumer electronics mean its profit mix is more diversified, making it relatively less sensitive to shocks from a single AI cycle; Quanta's GB300 shipments are ongoing, and its new Vera Rubin platform is set to begin low-volume shipments in Q4, giving it clearer visibility into 2027; Wistron has the highest AI exposure and the greatest upside, but it also relies most on a handful of customers' production schedules—September revenue fell 17% month-on-month, which the company attributed to timing differences in shipments of high-priced products. Such fluctuations are amplified under pure AI exposure.
My ranking is Quanta first, Foxconn in the middle, and Wistron as a satellite position. The reason is not which one has the bigger growth numbers, but which can turn revenue growth into more predictable profits. Contract manufacturers have never commanded high valuations; excess returns often come from the perception gap that “the market prices it as a cyclical stock, but it is actually becoming part of AI infrastructure.”
Holding all three at once on Gate using USDT for comparison is much cleaner than switching back and forth between three different brokerage accounts. Taiwan market trading hours of 01:00—05:25 UTC end earlier than the U.S. market, so anyone used to watching U.S. trading needs to adjust their rhythm—but that in turn forces you to take a slightly longer-term view. #每周来晒
