“It dropped and then got pulled back up—just a wick.”

I’d accept that for another ticker, but I don’t buy it for $SNOW
A wick doesn’t come with volume; this 20:00 candle had 6400 lots
The average volume of the previous 20 candles was 2128, a full three times as much;
One candle went from 296.84 to 278.59, a drop of 18.25;
It closed at 283.7, recovering only 5.11.
(A real wick wouldn’t come with triple the volume; someone was pressing it down while selling)
One more little-known fact: this ticker’s 24-hour trading volume is 190,000 U
Even more paltry than what I transferred for coffee this morning
The most deceptive line about a thin market is “it can’t go any lower or any higher”
It managed to drop today, so for now, count it as a drop
The moving average is at 291.88, the price is at 283.7, with eight bucks of space in between
So I’m not going long; I’ll take another look if 278.59 breaks
(Not investment advice; profit or loss is your own responsibility)

I’ll reconsider if it breaks 278.59; going long now is just throwing money away

Even sending coffee money in the morning is more active than this, lol

190k U in daily trading volume... and you still dare to trade with this liquidity?

There’s an $8 gap between the moving averages; the bears clearly aren’t done yet
