The question I actually think matters is which audience picks this up first and runs with it, and my honest read is, creators, before traders.

Think about how a creator currently monetizes an audience. A course. A token launch. A Discord paywall. An ad read wedged into a video. Every single one of those is a version of buy this thing from me. It puts the creator in a sales position relative to the people who trust them, which is a weird dynamic even when it works.
A Conviction breaks that pattern completely. You're not selling your audience anything. You're creating a market out of something they already argue about for free in your replies and comment section, and you earn 20% of every fee it generates for as long as it stays live. The relationship flips from buy my thing to come settle this with me. That's a fundamentally more honest exchange, and audiences can tell the difference.
The communities I'd bet on adopting this fastest are the ones that already run on unresolved arguments with zero stakes attached — live streamers whose chat argues about milestones nightly, sports fandoms who debate the same take for a full season, niche online communities that have an ongoing disagreement nobody's ever actually settled. Attach real stakes to an argument that already exists organically, and you've got a Conviction that graduates itself because the audience was already there before the market was.
If I had to list one right now, it'd be built around something my own audience has been arguing about unprompted for weeks. That's the actual signal — not what's a good market idea, but what are people already fighting about for free.
