U.S. Trade Representative Jamison Griel said negotiations on a U.S.-India trade agreement are still unlikely to conclude in the near term. In an interview with India’s ANI news agency on Thursday, Griel said: “At this point, I don’t think the two sides will reach an agreement anytime soon. We have identified all the issues preventing an agreement.” Washington and New Delhi are continuing to resolve disputed details in the proposed trade agreement.
