BTC/USDT: Where to look for optimal entry points?

Current situation:
Bitcoin is trading around 83,900. After the recent local high at 87,380 (on the daily chart) and the subsequent sharp impulse to 85,628 (on the 15m/1h charts), the price entered a correction and consolidation phase.

Timeframe analysis:

1. Daily chart (1D): The global trend remains bullish. The price is holding firmly above the key moving averages (EMA5: 83,872, EMA10: 83,443, EMA30: 80,465). However, the MACD on the daily chart is beginning to decline (the histogram has moved into negative territory), signaling slowing momentum and the need to cool off after the rise from 74,000.
2. Hourly chart (1H): A sideways range is forming. The price is trapped between EMA10 (84,004) and EMA30 (83,769). The MACD is attempting a bullish crossover, but volumes (Vol) are low, indicating market indecision.
3. 15-minute chart (15m): A local downtrend has formed after the rejection from 85,628. The price is below all short-term EMAs (5, 10, 30). The MACD is in negative territory. The nearest support is 83,449, followed by 82,586.

Optimal trading levels

The price is currently in the middle of the range (the 83,900 zone). Opening a position here is a bad idea due to the high risk. It is better to wait for the price to approach strong levels.

LONG scenario (Main, with the trend):
Given the bullish daily trend, buying from support levels is the priority.

· Entry zone No. 1 (Aggressive): 83,400 - 83,600 (current local support). If the price holds this level and shows a reaction (a bounce).
· Entry zone No. 2 (Optimal): 82,500 - 82,900 (strong support on the 15m and 1h charts, where a bounce previously occurred).
· Stop-loss: Strictly below 82,000 (or 80,400 for a medium-term position, as the daily EMA30 passes there).
· Take-profit: First target 84,800 (local resistance), second target 85,600, third 87,300+.

SHORT scenario (Countertrend, only for scalping):
If the price rises to resistance but fails to break through it.

· Entry zone: 84,800 - 85,200 (if there is a rejection from this zone accompanied by declining volumes).
· Stop-loss: Above 85,700 (breakout of the local high).
· Take-profit: 83,500, then 82,800.

Breakout scenario (Buying the impulse):
If the price breaks through 85,000 on high volume and holds above it.

· Entry: On a retest of the 85,000 level from below.
· Stop-loss: 84,400.
· Target: 87,000.

Conclusion and recommendations:

1. Do not enter at market now. The market is in a consolidation phase after a volatile impulse.
2. Watch the volume. Current volumes are low (Vol: 170 on the 15m chart). A sharp volume surge is needed for a genuine breakout.
3. Risk management. Always set stop-losses. BTC volatility is currently high, and moves of 1000-1500 per hour are common.

The levels are valid at the time of publication. This is not financial advice. Trade responsibly!

Brief summary of levels (for reference):

· Resistances: 84,800 / 85,600 / 87,380
· Supports: 83,400 / 82,500 / 80,400 (EMA30 D1)
· Trend: Medium-term Bullish. Short-term Sideways/Correction.
