DOGE at $0.09660: A New Entry Zone After the Pullback

Dogecoin is currently trading around $0.09660, and this price has brought DOGE back into an important short-term decision zone.

After the sharp sell-off across the Meme sector on September 24, DOGE has been attempting to stabilize and recover. The move from the $0.09 area back toward $0.10 showed that buyers were willing to step in, but the latest pullback means the market is once again testing whether this recovery has enough strength to continue.

For my current trading plan, I am watching the $0.09660 area as the first potential long-entry zone, while keeping the position size and leverage under strict control.

1. Why $0.09660 Matters

The recent decline pushed DOGE away from the $0.104 area and toward the $0.09 region.

That sell-off happened while the broader Meme sector was also under pressure, with the sector declining sharply on September 24.

Now DOGE is trading around $0.09660, which places it close to the previous breakout and consolidation area.

The important question is whether this zone can become support.

If buyers continue defending the $0.095–$0.097 region, DOGE could attempt another move toward $0.10 and eventually challenge the previous $0.104 high.

However, I do not want to assume that every bounce will become a rally. Confirmation from price action and volume remains important.

2. My Updated Entry Strategy

Instead of entering the entire position at once, I prefer a three-stage approach.

First entry — 30%:
Current area around $0.09650–$0.09700.

At $0.09660, this is the first zone where I would consider opening a controlled position.

Second entry — 30%:
If DOGE pulls back toward $0.09300–$0.09500, I would watch this area for support.

This zone is important because it sits close to the previous breakout structure.

Third entry — 40%:
A deeper move toward $0.09000–$0.09200 would become the final planned entry area, but only if the broader market structure remains reasonable.

The purpose of this approach is to avoid using the entire position at one price and to leave room for normal volatility.

3. Stop-Loss: $0.085

The most important number in this setup is $0.085.

If DOGE breaks below $0.085 with meaningful selling pressure, my long thesis is invalidated.

I would rather accept a controlled loss than continue holding a position after the original setup has failed.

A trading plan is not complete without knowing where the trade is wrong.

4. Profit Targets

If DOGE successfully recovers, I would manage the position in stages.

Target 1: $0.108–$0.110

This would place DOGE above the previous $0.104 high and would be my first major profit-taking zone.

At this level, I would consider taking approximately 50% of the position off the table.

Target 2: $0.115–$0.120

If momentum continues and DOGE reaches this resistance region, I would consider closing the remaining position or using a trailing stop to protect accumulated gains.

5. Risk Management Comes First

For this setup, I would keep total DOGE exposure below 30% of my futures capital.

Leverage would remain limited to 2–3x maximum.

DOGE can move quickly, and weekend or holiday liquidity can create sudden wicks. A small move in the wrong direction can become much larger when excessive leverage is used.

That is why I would rather give the trade enough room with controlled leverage than try to maximize returns through aggressive positioning.

6. What Could Invalidate the Rebound?

The biggest risk is still the broader crypto market.

If Bitcoin loses the $84,000 area again, DOGE could face another wave of selling pressure.

A weak BTC structure could push DOGE back toward $0.090, and potentially toward the $0.085 invalidation level.

There is also a risk that DOGE reaches the $0.10–$0.104 region but fails to break through because of insufficient volume.

In that situation, the recovery could turn into another range rather than a sustained upside move.

My Updated DOGE Plan

Current price: $0.09660
First entry: $0.09650–$0.09700
Second entry: $0.09300–$0.09500
Third entry: $0.09000–$0.09200
Stop-loss: $0.08500
Target 1: $0.108–$0.110
Target 2: $0.115–$0.120
Maximum exposure: 30% of futures capital
Maximum leverage: 2–3x

For me, this is not about chasing DOGE simply because it is green.

The idea is to trade the potential recovery from an oversold condition while having a clearly defined exit if the market proves the thesis wrong.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a time to enjoy the moon, share mooncakes, and spend time with the community.

But when it comes to trading DOGE, I want my position protected before I worry about the profit.

Enjoy the moon. Respect the market. Protect the position.
