🌕 For me, the Mid-Autumn Festival is about family. I really want all of us to simply gather around one table one evening. All the children, grandchildren, my father, my husband—and me, Mom Anya, who is looking forward to this more than anyone else ❤️. So that no one is in a hurry to go anywhere, everyone is together, laughing, talking, and simply happy that we are all together.

— Anya, shall I pour the tea already? — they ask me.
— Of course, pour it! And don’t hide the cookies, because the grandchildren will find everything 😂
— And who will share the mooncakes?
— Now that’s the most difficult question of the evening! 🥮
And everyone laughs, while I look at them and think: if only evenings like this happened as often as possible.

🍂 And I can already imagine this evening:
— yellow autumn leaves outside the window;
— hot tea and cookies on the table;
— the grandchildren happily telling some story;
— the children laughing;
— Dad joking;
— my husband beside me;
— and no one is in a hurry to go anywhere.

I don’t even need anything special. I just want to sit at the table and see all my loved ones beside me. I want to hear the children and grandchildren laughing, watch them argue over the last cookie 😄, and know that everyone is together right now. I want the house to be warm not only because of the tea, but also because of our conversations. So that we can calmly talk about life, remember something funny, and laugh. And so that outside there would be an ordinary, peaceful autumn. Without anxiety, without fear, without separation. Just family, home, tea, and happy faces. 🕊️

Now you understand especially clearly that the most precious things are not grand ones. It is being able to hug your mother, father, husband, and children, see your grandchildren, and say: “Well, finally, everyone is here!” ❤️ I really want such an evening for myself and for every Ukrainian family. So that we can meet without fear, celebrate together, laugh, and make plans for tomorrow. So that children grow up under peaceful skies, and autumn evenings are associated only with warmth, tea, and family.

🌕 Perhaps these are exactly the simple moments we want to remember. A large table, lots of conversation, cookies, tea, autumn leaves outside the window, and the people you love most. I really hope that we will definitely have such an evening. And that we will all be together, smiling and happy. For now, I simply hold this dream in my heart. May there be peace in Ukraine, may families reunite, and may every home be filled with light and warmth. 🇺🇦❤️

And I’m leaving my little dream here, on Gate Square. Perhaps someone will read it and smile too, because they are waiting for the same kind of evening. Let’s cherish these simple dreams. They are actually not simple at all. 🥮☕🍂
