Is 87K just a warm-up? BTC has already added 90K to its watchlist
After BTC climbed above $87,000, the market atmosphere clearly changed. Just a few days ago, people were still discussing whether “the rebound was a bull trap,” but now they have already started studying the view around 90K—a typical market pattern: once prices rise, everyone’s memory suddenly improves.
This rally is not being driven by sentiment alone. Recently, flows into U.S. spot BTC ETFs have clearly resumed, with nearly $1 billion in net inflows on September 21 alone, making it one of the strongest fund flow signals this year; meanwhile, short liquidations have further accelerated the rise.
But what matters most here is not “how much 87K has risen,” but whether it can become new support after the breakout. If BTC can consolidate repeatedly around 87K and hold above it on pullbacks, the market’s focus will naturally shift toward 90K. Conversely, if it quickly falls back to the 84K—85K range after rising, this breakout will need to be reassessed.
In trading, I’m more inclined to view 90K as a psychological threshold rather than an automatically triggered endpoint. A truly beautiful trend is not a large bullish candle every day, but rising, pulling back, and rising again—steady, like climbing a staircase. After all, BTC is not an elevator, so you cannot expect to press a button and go straight to 90K.
If 90K is genuinely breached, the market’s focus in the next stage may shift toward the resistance zone around 95K—97K.
So the key thing to watch now is not “whether to chase,” but whether 87K can turn from resistance into support. If it holds, the story continues; if it fails, the market may first give those chasing the rally a lesson in risk management.#87000#BTC突破87000美元
