$GT JUST BROKE $11 — NOW THE MARKET HAS A NEW QUESTION
GT has officially entered a new phase.
After trading around $8.39 on Sep 4, GateToken ($GT) climbed through $9, reclaimed $10, pushed above $10.40, and has now moved beyond the $11 level. Around Sep 23, GT was trading near $11.09, representing approximately a 40.15% gain over 30 days and a 67.38% gain over 90 days.
That is more than a short-term price spike.
The important question now is not simply whether GT can touch $11. The real question is whether the market can turn $11 from resistance into support.
That distinction matters.
If GT can hold the $10.70–$11.00 area during a consolidation or retest, the recent breakout structure could remain intact. From there, the next psychological checkpoints would be $11.50, $12, $12.50 and $13.
And then comes the bigger conversation:
Can GT eventually test $15?
From approximately $11.09 to $15, GT would need another gain of roughly 35.2%. That is certainly a substantial move, but it also needs to be viewed in context: GT has already gained more than 40% over the past 30 days.
So instead of thinking about $15 as one giant jump, I prefer to break the potential path into stages.
$11 — breakout and confirmation
$11.50 — first momentum checkpoint
$12 — major psychological resistance
$12.50 — continuation area
$13 — stronger breakout confirmation
$14 — momentum expansion
$15 — major psychological zone
The fundamental side of GT is also worth watching.
Gate reported that 2,570,063.3829548 GT were burned during Q2 2026, valued at more than $17.75 million at the reported valuation. Cumulative burns have reached approximately 189.95 million GT, representing around 63.32% of the original 300 million GT supply.
That creates an important supply-side component to the GT story.
GT is also closely connected to the Gate ecosystem, serving as its core platform token and having utility across Gate's broader infrastructure. As the ecosystem expands, the question becomes how increasing platform activity and token utility interact with a progressively reduced supply.
Gate has also reported more than 60 million registered users and an expanding product ecosystem that includes thousands of stocks and ETFs.
So when I look at GT, I am not looking at the chart alone.
I am looking at three things together:
Price momentum.
Ecosystem expansion.
Supply reduction.
But there is an important risk that should not be ignored.
GT has already moved from approximately $8.39 to $11.09, a move of roughly 32%. After such a strong advance, profit-taking and volatility are normal possibilities.
If GT briefly falls below $11, that does not automatically mean the breakout has failed. A controlled retest around $10.70–$11.00 could simply be the market testing whether previous resistance has become support.
A deeper move toward $10.40–$10.50 would also remain an important area to monitor because GT previously traded around that zone during the recent breakout sequence.
The $10 level remains another major psychological reference.
What I do not want to see is blind chasing after every green candle.
A strong trend can still experience sharp corrections.
Bitcoin direction, overall crypto liquidity, trading volume, market sentiment and profit-taking can all influence GT's next move.
For me, the cleanest way to read the current structure is step by step.
If $11 holds, watch $12.
If $12 is reclaimed with convincing participation, watch $13.
If $13 becomes support, the $14–$15 region becomes a much more relevant scenario.
But $15 should be viewed as an ambitious bullish scenario, not a guaranteed destination.
The market still has to prove each level.
What makes this move particularly interesting is that GT is not only showing strong recent price performance. It is doing so alongside an active burn mechanism and continued Gate ecosystem development.
That combination is why I will continue watching GT closely.
The next chapter is no longer about whether GT can break $11.
It already has.
Now the market has to answer a much more important question:
Can $GT stay above $11 and build the next support level?
If the answer is yes, $12 becomes the next major test — and beyond that, $13, $14 and potentially the $15 psychological zone come into focus.
For now, I remain constructive but disciplined.
I would rather watch GT build strong support step by step than chase a vertical candle.
$11 was the breakout.
Now we watch what GT builds above it.
