【Strong Capital Inflows: Why Did BTC Surge and Then Pull Back?】

On September 21, U.S. spot BTC ETFs saw net inflows of approximately $999 million, while ETH ETFs saw net inflows of approximately $270 million, for combined daily inflows of $1.269 billion. Stablecoin supply also expanded, indicating that the market’s liquidity base continues to improve.

But after breaking above $87,000, BTC pulled back to around $85,000, signaling that the market has shifted from a “rapid advance” to “high-level support testing.”

Key levels to watch next:

Whether 85K can form support;
Whether 86K–86.5K can be reclaimed;
Whether 87.3K–88K can be decisively broken.

Capital flows remain strong, but strong capital inflows do not mean prices will only rise. What truly matters is not how high prices reach intraday, but whether they can hold above the breakout level afterward.
