Emotions, especially uncontrolled ones such as anger or extreme fear, act like a fire that consumes everything in its path. When emotions take the wheel, the rational part of the brain dims.

The amygdala triggers impulsive responses that instantly cripple our ability to think clearly and see the long-term consequences.

Its destructive impact is clearly felt in various aspects of life:
Social Relationships: Harsh words spoken in anger can destroy trust and bonds built over years in mere seconds.

Career and Decisions: Momentary desires driven by emotion often lead to reckless decisions, failure to adapt, and even the destruction of one's professional reputation.

Mental and Physical Health: Harboring negative emotions triggers chronic stress, damages the body's organs, and erodes inner peace.
Emotions are essentially neutral energy. However, when emotions become the master and humans become their slaves, that is where logic dies. Without self-awareness and control over our reactions, emotions will always find a way to destroy whatever we have built through great effort.

Emotional control = the biggest edge that few people have. The market doesn’t care whether you’re angry or afraid—it keeps moving.

Emotions in crypto trading are very real—when liquidation hits, you immediately panic-sell or FOMO-buy. The amygdala really is a devil.

Gate is talking about neurology now? Pretty cool. Indeed, the key to successful trading isn’t just analysis, but also emotional management.

This is so relatable for holders who panic-sell at the bottom. The rational brain dies, the amygdala takes over, and the money is gone.
