Arc Mainnet has only been live for a couple of days, but the early numbers are already giving meme traders something important to study: activity is arriving fast, and now the real question is whether that activity can turn into sustainable liquidity.
Arcscan recorded approximately 7.76 million transactions on Sep 16, the mainnet launch day, followed by another 5.47 million transactions on September 17. While activity declined on the second day, millions of transactions in such a short period show that the ecosystem immediately attracted significant on-chain participation.
But transaction count alone does not tell traders which meme tokens are actually gaining strength.
The next layer is token-level market activity.
For Gate users, the launch is particularly interesting because supported Arc-chain meme assets can be accessed directly through Gate Trenches. Traders do not necessarily need to create a separate on-chain wallet and manage the network experience independently before accessing supported assets. The ability to trade through the Trenches interface using USDT creates a simpler route into early-stage meme markets.
There is also another factor worth watching: the current 0-Gas trading setup, combined with a limited-time 0.5% trading fee for supported Arc assets through Trenches.
In a market where traders can move between meme tokens quickly, lower network friction can influence how actively liquidity rotates. However, easier access does not automatically mean a token has strong fundamentals or sustainable demand. That distinction becomes especially important once the initial launch excitement starts fading.
One Arc meme asset already supported through Trenches is PANCHU (Pacharan).
Rather than looking only at whether PANCHU is green or red on the chart, I would track a broader set of numbers:
📌 Entry price
📌 Current/exit price
📌 24H trading volume
📌 Liquidity depth
📌 Holder growth
📌 Buy/sell ratio
📌 Price movement relative to volume
These metrics can provide a much clearer picture of market participation.
For example, a token moving +30% on thin liquidity can have a completely different risk profile from a token making a smaller percentage move while its volume, liquidity and holder base are expanding simultaneously.
That is where volume + liquidity + holders + buy/sell activity become more informative than price percentage alone.
There is also an interesting comparison from another emerging meme ecosystem.
Gate News reported approximately $270 million in 24-hour Robinhood Chain meme volume, with PONS contributing around $66.7 million. Arc and Robinhood Chain have different structures, so the figures should not be treated as a direct comparison. But they demonstrate an important market pattern: when a new chain becomes active, liquidity can quickly concentrate around a relatively small number of meme assets.
That creates the next challenge for Arc.
Can the ecosystem maintain meaningful trading activity after the launch-day attention disappears?
The move from 7.76M transactions to 5.47M is already a data point worth monitoring. The decline does not by itself determine the future of Arc's meme market, but it makes the next few trading sessions particularly interesting.
For #GateMeme狂欢季 I think the most useful approach is to document the entire trade journey:
Token → Entry → Price → Volume → Liquidity → Holder Change → Buy/Sell Ratio → Exit/Current Position
That turns a meme trade into a measurable market observation.
Arc has already delivered millions of transactions during its opening days. Now the market has to reveal something more important: which meme tokens can retain real liquidity and trading participation after the initial launch wave cools down?
The first chapter was about attention.
The next chapter is about data. 📊🔥
