🧠 THE MARKET ISN’T ALWAYS BEATING YOU — SOMETIMES YOUR REACTION IS

You can have a solid setup, clear entry and defined stop. Then one red candle appears and suddenly emotions take over.

Imagine risking $100 on a trade. Price moves against you and you move your stop lower because you believe it will bounce. Instead, price keeps falling and that planned $100 loss turns into $150 or $200.

The chart didn’t change your plan. Your emotions did.
This happens in different ways. FOMO makes you chase entries. Fear makes you exit winners too early. Greed makes you ignore your rules. Revenge trading makes one loss turn into several.

Research on investor behavior has linked overconfidence with excessive trading and found that emotional reactions can hurt trading performance.

🔑 The Real Lesson
You don’t need to win every trade. You need to manage your decisions.
Have a plan before entering. Know your risk. Accept that losses are part of trading. Never move your stop just because you feel uncomfortable.
You can’t control the market.
But you can control how you react to it.
That’s where real trading discipline begins.

🐂 Bull markets test your patience.
🐻 Bear markets test your conviction.

Both can teach you something valuable about trading.

My approach is to avoid emotional entries, watch market structure, and never risk more than I can afford to lose

BTC flipped over the resistance after finding support from the trendline. Moving like this doesn't necessarily mean it's bullish; more confirmation is needed before it's considered done.

$BTC broke through its late-August low range, but Open Interest did not follow the price increase.
This divergence matters. The previous rally showed BTC and OI rising together, driven by leveraged price-chasing. This time, volume surged during the breakout and then declined. OI rose moderately.
