Ripple now support Al agents' online services payments with $XRP and RLUSD using a payments standard co-created by Stripe and Tempo.

The updated XRP Ledger Al Starter Kit lets agents pay for data and computing without accessing private keys, with spending limits and approved destinations.

The software is in beta. Ongoing payment sessions support XRP, while stablecoin sessions require a proposed ledger upgrade.

Tempo, this partner is usually quite low-key, but making it into Stripe’s joint standards is no small feat.

Keyless delegated payments + quota control—this design is basically giving machines credit cards. The idea makes sense.

The dual-track payment system using RLUSD and XRP is key—AI agents don’t need to touch private keys, and the security model finally looks decent.

XRP will launch first during the beta phase, while stablecoins will have to wait for the upgrade; the roadmap is now clear.
