China just quietly pulled another lever.

Beijing’s US Treasury holdings have fallen from $1.3T in 2013 to roughly $700B today, the lowest level since 2008.
More than a decade of steady selling with barely a headline.
Why should you care?
Less demand for Treasuries can push yields higher, tighten global financial conditions, and put more pressure on risk assets.
And China is steadily reducing its exposure to the dollar.
That could become a much bigger story.
