The most absurd story in crypto this year.

The moment an Indian appeared on camera = meme coins were completely dead!
This L1 blockchain, backed by institutions including Circle, BlackRock, and Goldman Sachs, touted as Wall Street-backed and focused on being stablecoin-native, did not fall to a technical exploit or lose to a market downturn—it triggered an outright ecosystem collapse because its founder appeared on a livestream.
The most impressive thing about ARC @arc is that it successfully proved you don’t need hackers, a bear market, or even a technical vulnerability—just one livestream by the founder is enough to pull off a decentralized collapse.
The Wall Street halo turned out to be just a signboard, the stablecoin L1 was merely a facade, and the meme launchpad was its actual core business.
The blockchain didn’t collapse; its believers did.
The chain is still producing blocks, while the groups are already holding a funeral.
Institutional backing is just the packaging, memes are the bit of air inside the box, and when you open it, there’s nothing there.
I used to think DYOR meant researching the project. Now it seems DYOR means researching when the founder will livestream.

The light sign has gone out, the atmosphere has dissipated, and the believers are still waiting for the next light sign.

This project proves that a decentralized collapse does not require decentralization.

It is recommended that future white papers include a disclosure on the risks of founders appearing publicly.

The more lavishly an institution is packaged, the more opening it feels like a blind box.
