President Trump said he told Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh to “vote with the board” on today’s rate hike because “it won’t make any difference” 🇺🇸

When asked whether he still had confidence in Warsh, Trump said yes, then lashed out at other members of the Federal Reserve.

“He has a very difficult board. This board was put there by a lot of people. And interest rates are too high. It’s inappropriate.”

“The board is very hostile. They’re very political. They’re doing the wrong thing.”

“We should be paying the lowest interest rates in the world because we have the strongest credit.”

He also said the U.S. could eliminate its deficit with every country by “wiping it out,” earning $1.5 trillion from it each year, but “we haven’t chosen to do that.”#美联储

Choosing not to do so = still figuring out how to spin it. Got it.

With the world’s lowest interest rates, does dollar hegemony still matter?

The interest rate is too high and unsuitable, so what would be suitable? Come on, Trump, give us a precise number.
