$PONS is becoming an interesting case study in how fast a launchpad narrative can turn into a market narrative.

The impressive part is not just the price action. Pons has been expanding across major exchanges while its launchpad activity on Robinhood Chain has grown rapidly. That gives $PONS something many short lived meme trades lack: an underlying ecosystem generating actual activity.

But this is also where I would stay disciplined. On chain data shows huge token creation and trading activity, yet a large share of wallets ended up below their starting balance. High activity does not automatically mean healthy demand.

For $PONS, I would watch whether volume continues to translate into sustained liquidity and ecosystem usage after the listing hype cools down. If the activity survives without relying on constant exchange catalysts, the narrative gets much stronger.

That is the part I find worth watching.

Well said. High activity ≠ healthy demand; the fact that many wallets have less than their initial balances is all too real—a typical PvP battlefield.

Interesting angle. Launchpad projects often die once the hype fades because there is nothing left to do. If $PONS can survive on underlying activity, the narrative can indeed level up.

Indeed, $PONS ’s shift from the launchpad narrative to the market narrative has been quite astonishingly fast, but the on-chain data signal that “most people are losing money” definitely warrants caution.

The real ecosystem retention rate after the listing hype fades is what will determine whether $PONS can evolve from a case study into a long-term player.
