Prediction markets are becoming a different way to trade information.

Most traders start with:

“Is BTC going up or down?”

I think the better question is:
“What information does the market already believe?”

BTC can be bullish while the market still prices a high probability of a short-term pullback.

ETH can be strong while traders expect BTC dominance to remain elevated.

And sometimes the biggest opportunity isn't predicting the direction — it's identifying when the market's probability looks mispriced.

That's what makes Event Contracts interesting to me.
You're not just asking “where will price go?”

You're asking:
“What outcome is the market pricing, and do I agree with that probability?”

That's a much more disciplined way to think about short-term speculation.

What market outcome do you think is currently being mispriced?

This angle is interesting—not about guessing whether prices will rise or fall, but about finding pricing discrepancies, which is somewhat like an arbitrage mindset.

I've been wondering whether the probability of a short-term pullback is being overestimated, since on-chain data isn't that bearish after all.

Event Contracts have indeed turned prediction markets into information trading markets; the key is that you have to understand probabilities better than the market.
