Broadcom Falls Nearly 6% to a More Than Four-Month Low as Q4 Revenue Guidance Misses Expectations

Mars Finance News, September 3: Broadcom’s U.S. shares fell nearly 6% at the opening, reaching a low of $345.58, the lowest level since April 8. On the news front, Broadcom’s third-quarter net revenue increased 86% year over year to $29.591 billion, while adjusted earnings per share rose 96% year over year to $3.32. Among these, AI chip revenue increased 221% year over year to $16.7 billion. However, looking ahead to the fourth quarter, Broadcom expects revenue of approximately $34.8 billion, up 93% year over year, below analysts’ estimate of $35.05 billion. Its guidance for AI semiconductor revenue is $21.7 billion, up 236% year over year and only slightly above the market expectation of $21.33 billion. (Kegubao Broadcast)
