ARK Invest and Glassnode say $BTC and $ETH each need only three entities to reach a critical control threshold for block production. $SOL would need about 19 entities to reach a similar point.

That does not mean any network is already captured. Bitcoin’s figure reflects mining-pool hash share, while Ethereum’s reflects large staking providers. Miners can switch pools and stakers can move delegation, so the number is a concentration warning rather than proof of control. DYOR. #write2earn

Solana needs 19 to be considered critical—that number speaks for itself.

DYOR is right: data are warnings, not verdicts. Don’t let clickbait headlines sway you.

Wait, can ETH staking providers and BTC mining pools really be directly compared? The mechanisms are completely different, aren’t they?

This ARK report is quite interesting: just 3 entities can influence block production. It sounds scary, but miners switch pools faster than they change phone cases.

Mining pool concentration ≠ miner concentration; many people deliberately ignore this distinction.

Glassnode’s data has always been solid, but interpretation is up to each individual’s own ability.

19 vs 3—has SOL’s decentralization narrative suddenly gotten stronger?

So the core conclusion is: neither has been brought under control yet, but concentration is indeed sounding the alarm.

Of the three, ETH is actually the biggest concern; if the staking economy falters, withdrawals will be a chain reaction.
