Gate has officially expanded its global investment offerings by launching Japanese stock trading, giving users access to one of Asia's most influential financial markets.

From globally recognized companies in technology, automotive, robotics, gaming, and manufacturing to established dividend-paying corporations, investors can now explore new opportunities through Japan's dynamic economy—all from the Gate platform.

Japan remains the world's third-largest economy and is home to many internationally respected brands. The addition of Japanese equities allows investors to diversify beyond crypto and traditional international markets while gaining exposure to innovation-driven industries.

Key highlights:
✅ Access to Japanese-listed stocks
✅ Portfolio diversification opportunities
✅ Exposure to leading global brands
✅ Convenient trading through the Gate platform
✅ Expansion of cross-market investment options

As global investing becomes more accessible, the integration of Japanese stocks represents another step toward connecting investors with broader financial markets. Whether you're seeking long-term growth, dividend income, or exposure to sectors such as AI, semiconductors, electric vehicles, gaming, and industrial automation, Japan offers a compelling range of opportunities.

Before investing, remember that every market carries risks. Research individual companies, understand currency and market fluctuations, and ensure your investment strategy aligns with your financial goals and risk tolerance.

The launch reflects the growing demand for multi-asset investing, where users can manage digital assets alongside traditional financial products within a unified ecosystem.

The Japanese market does indeed have quite a few high-quality assets, such as upstream companies in sectors including semiconductor equipment and auto parts, with relatively clear long-term fundamentals. However, Japanese stocks can sometimes be unusually volatile, and if the yen continues to depreciate, gains in stocks could still translate into losses when converted into U.S. dollars or renminbi. It is still advisable to start with a small position and thoroughly research the company’s fundamentals before proceeding.

From now on, when watching the markets, I’ll have to add the Nikkei to U.S. stocks and crypto—there just aren’t enough eyes. May I ask which stocks are supported? Do you have Toyota and Sony?

Buying Japanese stocks directly on Gate is quite convenient, so you don't need to open an account with a Japanese brokerage. However, exchange rates and liquidity still require attention—don't rush in just because of the dividends.
