In Web3, one careless signature can cost more than a thousand successful trades can earn.

Your wallet is only as secure as your habits. Never share your seed phrase or private key, even with someone claiming to be official support. Legitimate teams will not ask for them.

Before connecting your wallet, verify the website and avoid links from unknown accounts. A professional-looking page can still be a phishing site.

Most importantly, read every transaction before signing. Check the contract, token amount and permissions being requested. Be especially careful with unlimited token approvals, which can create significant risk if the contract is malicious or compromised.

Consider separating long-term holdings from wallets used for trading, NFTs or unfamiliar DeFi applications. This limits potential damage if one wallet interacts with something dangerous.

Remember: audits reduce risk, but they do not guarantee safety.

The best Web3 security strategy is simple:

Verify. Read. Limit. Protect.

Never let urgency, FOMO or promises of guaranteed returns replace basic security checks.

In Web3, the safest transaction is the one you fully understand before you approve it.
