GATE EVENT POINTS SYSTEM: TURN EVERY EVENT TRADE INTO MORE OPPORTUNITIES

Gate’s new Event Points System introduces a fresh way to participate in Event Markets while earning scratch cards, Event Points, vouchers, and chances at a growing jackpot.

The concept is simple: trade eligible Event Contracts, collect scratch cards, reveal your rewards, and compete for a share of the weekly leaderboard prize pool.

HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS

For standard Event Contracts, every 20 USDT of valid trading volume earns 1 scratch card.

For contracts marked “2x”, the requirement drops to just 10 USDT, allowing users to generate scratch cards twice as quickly from the same trading volume.

After receiving a scratch card, users can uncover different rewards, including:

• USDT cash rewards
• Event Points for leaderboard rankings
• Trading experience vouchers
• The 88,888 PTS Super Lucky Prize

The scratched Event Points are automatically added to the weekly leaderboard, where the Top 100 users compete for the points prize pool.

HOW THE PRIZE POOL IS BUILT

Each round receives a 10,000 USDT contribution from Gate.

The prize structure is divided into:

• 80% for leaderboard rewards
• 20% for the Lucky Grand Prize Pool
• 0.1 USDT added for every successfully scratched card

If the Super Lucky Prize is not won during a round, the Lucky Grand Prize Pool rolls over into the next round. That creates the potential for the jackpot to grow continuously.

The leaderboard distribution is:

• 1st: 30%
• 2nd: 15%
• 3rd: 10%
• 4th–10th: 10% collectively
• 11th–50th: 10% collectively
• 51st–100th: 5% collectively

EVERY WEEK STARTS FRESH

A new round begins every Monday at 18:00 (UTC+8), while the previous round is settled automatically.

No separate registration is required. Eligible Event Contract trading automatically puts you into the system.

This weekly reset is especially interesting because it prevents an early leaderboard advantage from becoming permanent. Every Monday creates a new competitive environment.

THE 2X ADVANTAGE

The volume mechanics can make a significant difference.

With a 100 USDT daily trading budget:

• Standard contracts → 5 cards per day
• 2x contracts → 10 cards per day

Over seven days, that becomes approximately 35 cards versus 70 cards.

So contract selection can dramatically influence how frequently you receive scratch opportunities. However, volume should never be increased simply to chase rewards; event trading still carries market risk.

MY STRATEGY

I would focus on four things: understand the event before trading, prioritize efficient opportunities such as eligible 2x contracts, maintain disciplined weekly participation, and monitor your leaderboard position as the Monday settlement approaches.

The rollover mechanism is another feature worth watching. If the Super Lucky Prize remains unclaimed for several rounds, the growing pool can become increasingly attractive.

HOW TO START

1. Keep USDT available in your Gate account.
2. Go to Home → Events → Event Markets.
3. Transfer funds to your Event Market Account.
4. Select an event and choose Yes or No.
5. Complete an eligible trade.
6. Receive and scratch your cards.
7. Track your rewards and leaderboard position.

Gate’s Event Points System combines event trading, gamified rewards, weekly competition, and jackpot mechanics into one ecosystem.

For me, the biggest attraction is not simply the possibility of winning a reward. It is the way the system turns regular participation into multiple opportunities: trading outcomes, scratch-card rewards, Event Points, vouchers, and a rollover jackpot.

The key is to participate strategically—not recklessly. Understand the event, control your budget, and treat rewards as an additional benefit rather than a reason to overtrade.

Every Monday brings a fresh leaderboard. Every eligible trade can create another scratch opportunity. And every unclaimed jackpot can make the next round even more interesting.
