$BTC 1W Chart
Watching price action closely around the 200 Week MA, this week looks like it's about to break below it.
This setup feels familiar. Back in Summer 2022, price lost the 200MA in June, attempted a recovery in July & that bounce failed, leading to further downside.
Right now, structure is playing out in a similar way. If history rhymes here too, I wouldn't be surprised to see lower lows before any real reversal.
Not financial advice, just tracking the chart and sharing what I'm seeing.
Staying cautious here and waiting for confirmation before calling a bottom.

I made a comparison: In June 2022, it broke below support, rebounded in July on low volume, and continued its gradual decline in August; the current pattern is almost identical. But there is one variable—the on-chain token distribution shows whales accumulating, so a sharp wick down followed by a rally cannot be ruled out. Either way, make sure your stop-loss is in place, because history never repeats itself exactly.

In the short term, watch the 200-week moving average; in the long term, it is not support at all, just a moving average. A real bottom is formed by the market’s despair-driven sell-off, not by drawing lines.

Agreed, no lowball offers accepted before confirmation.

History does not simply repeat, but it inevitably rhymes.

The July 2022 rebound looked pretty strong, but it still broke down. If the weekly candle fails to reclaim the 200MA this time, those calling for a bottom in the comments may well get cut again.

Falling below the 200-week moving average is not important; what matters is support and trading volume.

Don’t rush to buy the dip. That year’s rebound was an exit rally; sentiment is even colder now, and a lower low is entirely possible.
