According to a Sept. 3 report by Malwarebytes, scammers built a phishing website disguised as a GTA 6 fan countdown page, claiming to sell a leaked version of the game for $50 or 1 SOL and luring visitors into connecting their cryptocurrency wallets. The website embedded two malicious scripts targeting seven blockchains, including Ethereum and Polygon, which could immediately transfer Assets or obtain Approval to subsequently transfer tokens and NFTs.
