The Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) in the United States has launched a publicly accessible tracker to prevent Cryptocurrency and other investment eyewash. The software relies on consumer complaints to collect key threat information and alert the public so that "perpetrators can deceive fewer investors".
DFI recently revealed that Wisconsin residents lost nearly $3.55 million due to financial fraud and cryptocurrency scams, according to victim reports from January 2022 to June 2024. (Cointelegraph)
