According to Nikkei, Bitcoin's recent price momentum has faded, with the market now viewing U.S. interest rate hike expectations as a heavy burden. Market participants widely expect Bitcoin to peak this fall, with the November midterm elections as a key risk factor.

Historically, during midterm election years, prices have declined sharply from September through year-end: Bitcoin dropped 45% in 2018 and 18% in 2022.
